Maharashtra Bal Sangopan Yojana 2023: The Maharashtra government is accepting online applications for the Bal Sangopan Yojana (BSY) 2023 program at womenchild.maharashtra.gov.in By downloading the Bal Sangopan Yojana application form in PDF format, interested candidates can register for the program. People can now visit the official website to learn more about the Bal Sangopan Yojana application procedure, eligibility requirements, beneficiary list, payment/amount status, features, perks, and application status.

The Women and Child Development Department of the Maharashtra State Government have been supporting the Bal Sangopan Yojna since 2008. Around 100 students have benefited from the Balsangopan Yojna in a single year. These one hundred chosen students all have single parents who are supported financially by the state of Maharashtra for their education.

What is Maharashtra Bal Sangopan Yojana

As part of this project, all children whose parents are temporarily placed with another family because of a disorder (chronic disease), death, separation from their parents, the abandonment of one parent, or any other tragedy. Every kid has the right to have family care for them, so as part of the foster care program, a family is made temporarily or permanently accessible to a child.

Through a nonprofit organization, the state government gives foster parents a monthly subsidy of Rs. 425 per child for their basic requirements. The implementing charitable organization receives a monthly subsidy of Rs. 75 per child for visiting the household and other administrative tasks.

Maharashtra Bal Sangopan Yojana Eligibility Criteria

The list below includes all of the requirements for beneficiaries of the Bal Sangopan Yojna 2023:-

  • children who are either orphans or whose parents cannot be found and who are not adoptable.
  • Children who have a single parent and are experiencing a family crisis, such as a death, a divorce, a separation, abandonment, being an unmarried mother, a significant sickness, hospitalization of a parent, etc.
  • children from divorced and single-parent families.
  • children with disabilities caused by both parents having disabilities, children with severe mental retardation or multiple disabilities, children with leprosy and life sentences, HIV/AIDS, and other causes.
  • those children who are in crisis situations, who are the subject of court or police allegations, or who have severe parental conflict.
