Kushal Yuva Program 2023 

Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM) has launched a unique skill training program by the name of “Kushal Yuva Program” (KYP) which would enhance the employability skills of all aspirants in the age group of 15-28 years (Age limit for SC/ST, OBC & People with Disabilities is as follows: SC/ST – 33 years, OBC – 31 years, PwD – 33 years), who have passed at least 10th Class irrespective of their having attained higher education or their currently pursuing higher education. Soft Skills training would comprise Life skills, Communications Skills (English & Hindi), and Basic computer literacy which in turn would enhance their employability and act as a value add to the various domain-specific training endeavors currently being implemented in Bihar.

Features of Bihar Skilled Youth Program (KYP) Scheme:

• According to the Bihar government, through this Bihar Kushal Yuva Yojana, along with training, employment will also be provided to all the youth.
• Through this Bihar Skilled Youth Program Scheme, applicants will become self-reliant by taking youth training.
• Under this Bihar Skilled Youth Program, the training given to the youth will be in e-learning mode, which will save both their time and money.
• To become eligible for the Bihar Skilled Youth Program, the applicant can easily register by visiting the portal through his mobile and computer.
• The main objective of this Bihar Skilled Youth Program is to eliminate unemployment and increase maximum employment opportunities.
• Age relaxation will also be given to the youth on the basis of the category under the Bihar Kaushal Yuva Program.
• Under this Bihar Skilled Youth Program, all the applicants will be given life skills, communication skills (Hindi and English) and basic computer training.
• The total duration of training given through Bihar Kushal Yuva Yojana has been fixed at 240 hours.
• Fixed training time has been fixed for 40 hours of life skills, 80 hours of communication skills, and 120 hours of basic computer.

Benefits of the Kushal Yuva Program 2023

(KYP) Scheme:

• Under this scheme, the main objective is to make the new youth of Bihar state self-reliant.
• Under this scheme, 3 components have been made in the training course for the youth. Life Skills, Communication Skills, and Basic Computer Literacy.
• Under this Bihar Skilled Youth Program (KYP), the training time of 3 courses has been fixed for 240 hours.
• Under the Bihar Skilled Youth Program (KYP), after giving training to the applicant youth, they will also be provided with certificates so that they can easily get jobs anywhere.

Eligibility for Kushal Yuva Program 2023(KYP) Scheme Application:

• This Bihar Skilled Youth Program (KYP) scheme is only for permanent residents of Bihar state.
• To take advantage of this Kushal Yuva Program Yojana, the applicant must be at least 10th passed from a recognized institute or board.
• Only applicants in the age group of 15 to 28 years can take advantage of this scheme.
• Under this scheme, if the youth is between 20 to 25 years of age, he will be given a self-help allowance and it will be mandatory for him to do this training.
• If the applicant belongs to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and PWD category, then he can apply for this scheme for up to 33 years and if he belongs to another backward caste category, he can apply for this scheme for 31 years.

Kushal Yuva Program 2023 Course Fee:

• 1000/- rupees will have to be given as security at the time of admission under the Bihar Kushal Yuva Program course.
• After the completion of the training course, the fee of Rs 1000 taken by you will be returned to the beneficiary.
• This fee will be sent directly to your bank account within 1 month.
• If the applicant leaves this training course in the middle or fails the final examination three times, then in both these cases this amount will not be given back to him.
